Developing Next-Generation Energy Infrastructure
to Power Our Future

We develop utility-scale electric transmission projects that enhance grid resilience, deliver long-term economic benefits to communities, and reduce electricity costs for consumers.

Our Passion is For the Grid

Grid United was founded by a group of energy industry veterans who share the vision of building infrastructure projects that will help modernize the U.S. electric grid. Our team is comprised of experienced professionals in the energy industry who have managed, built, and financed large-scale infrastructure projects across North America.

We seek out projects that few other developers are equipped to take on, and we are determined to develop the infrastructure that will have a historic impact on America’s power grid.

UNITING THE GRID

The power grid exists in three separate and largely independent parts: the Eastern Interconnection, the Western Interconnection, and the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT). This separation results in limited ability to transfer electricity between regions. With energy demand increasing, our fractured grid is a bottleneck to ensuring energy reliability and security nationwide.

Our short video describes how America’s electric grid came to be and the solutions Grid United is driving forward – long-distance, high-voltage transmission lines to strengthen and modernize the electric grid.

Utilizing the Leading Technologies for Interregional grid Buildout

Grid United will deploy both direct current and alternating current technology in our long-distance, high-voltage transmission lines to ensure an efficient and resilient grid.

Join Our Team and Create the Grid of Tomorrow

We are building a team dedicated to accelerating the modernization of the U.S. electric grid. We seek to hire talented, hardworking individuals who share our passion for responsible development and building game-changing energy infrastructure projects. If you want to be part of a dynamic team working to create a more resilient American grid, we would love to hear from you!
