Will Harrop leads grid analytics and commercial activities at Grid United. In this role, he is responsible for quantifying and explaining the economic and grid reliability value propositions of transmission to utilities, investors, and consumers.
In previous roles, Will was responsible for the structuring of offtake contracts for wind and solar farms and leading the analytics process from resource assessment through pricing strategy. His role also encompassed new product development and nodal pricing analysis. Most recently, Will served as an originator in Swiss Re’s Environmental and Commodity Markets group where he focused on products mitigating weather and commodity risks for wind and solar farms, battery energy storage facilities, and retail electric providers.
Will holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Tufts University.
