Mike Griswold brings more than 17 years of project management and heavy capital project experience to his role as Director of Project Execution at Grid United.
Previously, Mike served in varying roles of increasing responsibility over a thirteen-year tenure at the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA). Most recently, Mike spearheaded and led a dynamic team centered on the development and execution of LCRA’s transmission and substation projects across Texas. While in LCRA’s Transmission Project Management Office, Mike was responsible for supporting the execution level development of more than 100 projects to maintain and grow LCRA’s transmission system, encompassing over 5,000 miles of transmission lines and 400 substations. In other roles, Mike enhanced LCRA’s strategic procurement and partnerships through advanced category management and negotiations, and played a critical role in evaluating commercial solar opportunities and the organization’s capabilities in new markets. Prior to LCRA, Mike served as a Procurement Coordinator in Zachry Construction’s industrial division, emphasizing new power generation and coal fired retrofit scrubber projects.
Mike is an aficionado of the culinary arts, enjoys spending time with his family and is a native Houstonian. Mike holds a degree in marketing from Texas State University and an MBA from St. Edwards University. He is also a registered PMP.
