With seven years of engineering management in the wind industry, Allie Wahrenberger leads engineering and design efforts at Grid United. She is responsible for ensuring projects develop feasible and robust technical configurations that meet the constraints of a wide variety of stakeholders.
Allie previously managed wind project design at Enel Green Power, where she was responsible for Enel’s North American portfolio of wind projects in development and execution. Her responsibilities included due diligence, initial siting, survey management, design advancement, and construction technical support. Throughout her career Allie has supported the development and execution of over 2,000 MW of wind projects, including approximately 100 miles of transmission lines.
Allie holds a master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Tufts University.
