Donnie Joe (DJ) Worth is a Project Development Director at Grid United supporting the North Plains Connector (NPC) transmission project.
DJ oversees project development planning, managing budgets and schedules as well as permit acquisition. On behalf of NPC, DJ supported successful grant applications with the U.S. Department of Energy, including $700 million for the Montana Department of Commerce through the Grid Resilience and Innovation Partnerships program. DJ is frequently in the project area, working with local stakeholders to ensure their input is incorporated into NPC’s development.
DJ had an early energy industry introduction through his Oklahoma education and upbringing, with internships in the Oklahoma energy industry beginning in 2012 and full-time energy design/development roles beginning in 2016. DJ holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Petroleum Engineering from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Philosophy in Energy Technologies from the University of Cambridge.
