As an Analyst at Grid United, Jason Mendez is responsible for assisting in market analysis and financial modeling, coordinating and preparing reports and performing diligence studies. Prior to joining Grid United, Jason performed research at the University of Texas at Austin Jackson School of Geosciences under the GeoVISION program, primarily studying the Cape Verde archipelago landscape evolution. The goal of his research was to constrain volcanic island landscape evolution to understand species distribution, assess risk from lava flows and water-magma interactions, and to help communities seek sustainable water supplies. Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in earth science from Rice University.
