As Senior Counsel, Jing Tong is responsible for providing legal advice regarding corporate, commercial, regulatory, corporate governance and transactional matters.
Jing is a seasoned corporate attorney with significant experience in mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. Prior to joining Grid United, he practiced law for almost nine years at Vinson & Elkins LLP, where he represented a broad range of public and private companies across multiple industries in mergers and acquisitions, bond / equity offerings, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and investor relations and disclosures. He also previously held a General Counsel position at an upstream oil and gas company.
Jing holds a J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law. He also holds a bachelor’s degree from Wuhan University and a Ph.D. degree from Baylor University, both in philosophy.
